Help wanted: Boeing says airlines need 1 million workers

NEW YORK  — Boeing says the airline industry will need to hire more than one million workers over the next 20 years to prepare for a wave of 30,000 new aircraft.

The airlines will need to hire 466,650 pilots and 596,500 maintenance crew workers between 2010 and 2029, the aircraft maker said Thursday.

PORT-AU-PRINCE, Haiti –An open door to Port-au-Prince’s deaf community has given Florida Baptist relief workers a vision to seek out clusters of forgotten people left stranded by the Jan. 12 earthquake. As they have found ways to minister to the deaf, leaders of the Confraternité Missionaire Baptiste d’Haiti convention “opened their eyes to a community of people that their eyes were blinded to,” said Dennis Wilbanks, partnership missions associate director for the Florida Baptist Convention, which has had a 15-year relationship with the CMBH.

La GIM (Gédéon Israël Ministries) a décidé de reconstruire Haïti. Cette campagne est lancée par un Haïtien d’origine   nommé Nelson Noël.

Il lance une opération en faveur d’Haïti, avec une ferme conviction que le peuple haïtien entre dans une Nouvelle saison, qu’il ne faut absolument pas négliger.

Selon lui : ” Haïti était la voix décisive pour la création de l’Etat Hébreux, le 29 novembre 1947 devant l’ONU après la shoah ” par conséquent, il aimerait que tout le monde soutienne Haïti à l’instar d’Israël.
